Extended Warranty's

When you buy an new RV, you will be offered an extended warranty plan from the dealer. They are also sometimes offered on used RV's, if the RV is still a late model. It is a good idea to shop for an extended warranty before you purchase the RV. Most of us have an idea of what type of RV we are shopping for, so getting a quote will give us some idea of the cost and what is covered under the warranty. You will find that you are going to get high quotes and low quotes, so it is very important to consider what items on your RV are going to be covered.

Trust me with the high cost of parts and labor these days break down insurance is a must. So it isn't a question of if we need this insurance or not, but who are we going to get it from. Here we are featuring Good Sam breakdown insurance, because they were the ones we chose when we bought our RV. We have had it for several years and have been happy with it.

Having said that, I would suggest you get a quote from more then one company. Carefully consider the price and what they are covering. There is nothing worse then buying something, then finding you could have gotten a better deal some where else.
