QUESTION: Since I have had Internet Explorer 8, when I click on a email address on a web site I get a warning. Can you tell me what it is for?

ANSWER: When Internet Explorer 8 came out, it came with an email warning that I think scares a lot of people. I know it is a safety feature, but at the same time it has caused some problems. Take a look at the warning below,
You can take a first hand look at this warning by clicking on the "blank email" link toward the bottom of this page, of course you have to have Internet Explore 8. Read the warning, it is pretty scarey, but if you notice it also says "If you do not trust this website, do not open this program". What it does not say is if you trust the website go ahead and open it or Allow it. If you click the allow button on our websites, it will open your email box and automatically address an email to us. Because of this warning, we did not put a link to enter the contest above or a link to subscribe to the Newsletter, instead you have to write our address into the email your self's. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it looks like we will have to change all of the subscribe notices on our websites as well. Since this warning has come out, we are not getting near as many subscribes as we used to. If you are on a website that you know nothing about, I would advise you to heed the warning, but on our websites, you need not worry about something bad happening if you click on the Allow button. This notice does not come up if you are using Firefox or Mac Safari 5.

If any of you would like to ignore this warning and enter the contest or subscribe to the Newsletter, just click on this link, Click Here, those of you that are already subscribers, just put Contest on the subject line, those of you that are subscribing, put Subscribe in the subject line.

QUESTION: Why does a video keep starting and stopping when I try to watch it?

ANSWER: Probably because your Internet connection speed is not fast enough. Go here and check your download speed, click here if your download speed is less than about 1.50 then you will not be able to watch most videos without it starting and stopping. My speed is 2.89 to 3.0 and I still have a problem with some videos.

QUESTION: I have been hearing the term Cloud Computing lately, can you tell me what it is?

ANSWER:If you search Google for the term Cloud Computing you will find lots of definitions, most of them different. Basically and simply Cloud Computing is doing tasks on the Internet instead of on your computer. You use someone elses software, apps etc. If you are getting your email by going to a website, you are Cloud Computing, but there is so much more that you can do. If you go to a Cloud Computing website such as www.zoho.com or Google Docs you can do things from any computer and anywhere. Zoho has a bunch of free things you can do, they also have a pay for service that offers even more.

QUESTION: Is there someplace online that I can print labels for free?

ANSWER:You bet and it is from a very good company called Avery. You can print labels and more, you do have to sign up to do it, but it is free. I signed up for it, the only thing they ask for is your name and an email address. When you are at the website, click on Design & Print Online in the left column.
