Why do we need life?
Aren't we alive now?
According to the scriptures, the
wages of sin is death. However we know that when people sin, that
they do not always die physically. Therefore we must come to the
conclusion that it means spiritual death. Romans
6:23
God sent his Son to die in our place
and to take the punishment that we deserved. John
3:16
Jesus died for our sins, to set us
free from the effects of sin (death). 1 John
2:2
His sacrifice has provided
righteousness for us. A righteousness not of anything we have done, but it came
through his sacrifice. 1 Peter
3:18
Not only did Jesus provide
forgiveness for our sins, but also provided life through his
resurrection.
John 10:10
In order for Jesus to give us
eternal life, he had to do away with sin. Otherwise when we sinned again,
we would die spiritually again. John

When we were dead in our sins, we
not only needed forgiveness for our sins, but life also.

You can receive forgiveness for your
sins and eternal life, by coming to Jesus.
John 5:24
Read this verse, it tells us if we believe, we have crossed over from death to
life.
"That if you confess with your
mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the
dead, you will be saved". Romans
10:9-10
Verse 10 says by doing this, that
you are saved. You don't have to
wait to see if you made it, you are
saved at that moment.
