Using Windows XP Fax (Attachments)

To send photos or documents, they must first be located on your computer. A good place to keep them is in the My Documents folder. In order to get them there in many cases you will have to use a scanner. Another way is if they have been sent to you via email and you have saved them to your My Document folder. At any rate, they way to send them using the fax, is to open the document or photo. In the case of a document, once it is open, click on file in the upper left of the window and choose print. For a photo, depending what program opened it, you would choose print. The below window should appear, drop the menu down and select fax and click ok.

The send fax wizard will appear, click next.

Fill in the blanks like the picture below and click next. (Of course you will not be sending it to Mickey Mouse)

Fill in the blanks like below and click next. (Isn't this easy?)

Below you can read your options, because maybe one time you may want to use them, but usually you will just be checking now and normal. Click next.

Now you can preview the fax before you send it. If you preview it, it should say 2 next to pages, the face sheet and attachment. When you are ready click finish.
