Installing and using Windows XP Fax

Once again go back to your control panel click printers and faxes, when the next window opens click fax and the below window will appear. Click file and send fax.

The Send Fax Wizard will come up. Click next.

In this window make sure there is a check mark in use dialing rules and fill in the blanks like below. Click next.

Select a cover page, fill in a subject and write your message. Click Next.

In this window check now and normal. Click next

Here you can preview your fax, if you are ready, click finish. Wait for the send window to come up and watch your fax go.(Note: To receive a fax you must leave your computer on.)
