Campground Discount Cards

The expense of traveling seems to be climbing all the time. If it isn't high gas and fuel prices, then it is RV Park fees or something else. Looking for places to cut corners is getting harder all the time.

We need to take advantage of every edge we can get. One way to do that is with camground discount cards. Over the years we have tried several and I am sure many of you have as well. A bunch of money can be saved with a little planning and the right cards. The membership fees for these cards can be recovered very quickly if make use of them.

Like everthing else it seems, some experimenting will be nesscesary to find the ones that will work best for you. Fortunatley the yearly fees for these cards is not that much and you can have several and still make it worth while. Do like we did and weed out the ones you don't want and keep the ones that benefit you most. These cards are not going to cover every where you go, so there will be times when you are just going to have to pay full price for your stay.

Another thing to consider is how far are you willinly to drive out of your way to use a card. With the price of gas and fuel going up, it may not be worth it to travel to far out of your way, or you might end up spending more over all.
